How Far We Have Come.

 Over my career I’ve been involved in a number of companies providing technical solutions to real world business problems.  Everything from e-learning, website application development, knowledge management to massive global e-commerce solutions.  Just over 3 years ago, I met with some incredibly smart and capable individuals that suggested dentistry needed a secure, open, web based, digital platform and they knew I would get a thrill out of bringing it to market.  I looked long and hard at the opportunity and couldn’t pass it up.  I joined in, and together with a great technical team, we were proud to be a part of Brightsquid Dental.

After 2 years of building, testing and reviewing with experts we proudly brought the product to market on January 1, 2012.  I was thrilled that we were able to provide a solution for the very real problem of sharing private patient records with all of the parties involved in dental treatment. Countless hours learning, developing, and travel ling were captured in our first release of Brightsquid Dental Link.

After 9 months in the market, we must have done something right.  We’ve got almost 1000 users in over 7 countries, over 2000 new cases per month and many interactions daily between our dedicated users.  To be honest, though, the most important thing that came from the past year was our “real world” learning about how dental professionals would use our system.  We’ve done our best to listen to requests and captured them into our first large upgrade since we launched.  Thank you to all 1000 of you who joined Brightsquid Dental Link and provided us with your honest feedback.

I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the new system and anxious to keep building on our strong base of users.  We’ve got lots more in store for Brightsquid that you’ll be seeing in the coming months.  We’ll do our best to keep you posted.  You can always find us at contact@brightsquid.com.
